Hungarian Residence Permit (“D” Visa)

• can be applied for a maximum of 3 years (depending on purpose)

• long term residence (multiple, unlimited entry)

• valid in the Schengen area (also functions as a short term visa in some non-Schengen countries)

• applied at: 1. the local Hungarian Embassy (first application) 2. the Hungarian Immigration Authority – OIF (renew applications)

• usual length of government procedure from the day of application: 60 days

• can be applied for purposes: employment, business, study, family reunification, medical treatment, traineeship, seasonal employment, intra-corporate transfer and other)

• requirements: fully completed application form, application fee and other neccessary documents (depending on pupose)

Our Services involve managing your whole application from start to finish. An experienced consultant will be assigned to your application and prepare the application for you. We go through your financial situation, accommodation status, visa history, current needs and future prospects. We will be liaising with the Immigration Authority on your behalf until the application is decided and with your authorization we will submit additional documents if needed according to the given deadlines. In case the residence pupose requires it we provide support with the neccesary procedures at other authorities (eg.: workquota application, tax certificates etc.) all included in one contract.
Be aware that according to immigration regulations the applicant (client) has to appear in person in front of the Immigration Authority. However in case the application can be submitted in Hungary we will accompany you to the Immigration Authority (OIF) aswell to prevent any misunderstanding at the customer service aswell.
